A pet urn is more than just a vessel – it is a place for memory and love. From a lump of clay to a finished ceramic piece, every step requires patience and skill. The craft behind it carries the thousand-year heritage of Jingdezhen, the world-famous “Porcelain Capital” of China.
The Legacy of Jingdezhen

Over 1,000 years of history: Jingdezhen became renowned during the Song Dynasty (since 1004 AD), when imperial kilns were established.
Porcelain Capital: With its unique kaolin clay and firing techniques, the city produced porcelain that is translucent, strong, and smooth to the touch.
A treasure in Europe: In the 14th century, Jingdezhen porcelain was exported to Europe and prized as “white gold” among nobility.
Cultural influence: Inspired by Jingdezhen, Europe later developed its first hard-porcelain manufactory in Meissen, Germany.
Today: Jingdezhen still represents the height of porcelain artistry.
Our pet urns are crafted in Jingdezhen, combining this heritage with personal remembrance.
The Crafting Process of PawEver Soul Pet Urns – 8 Key Stages
Shaping (including joining parts): Skilled artisans form the clay by hand or with molds. Complex shapes are carefully joined together.
Trimming: Once partially dried, the piece is refined – every line and curve adjusted for balance and elegance.

Bisque firing (~800 °C): The first firing hardens the body, giving it strength and stability.
Hand painting: Motifs and decorations are added by brush.
In our urns, this stage allows for custom details such as pet portraits, paw prints, or symbolic designs – making each piece one of a kind.
Glazing: A glaze layer is applied, protecting the surface and giving the urn its warm sheen.
Loading the kiln: Each piece is placed carefully inside, ensuring even heat during firing.
High-temperature firing: The second firing fuses glaze and clay at high heat, creating a durable, lasting finish.
Detail polishing: Finally, artisans polish and refine the surface, giving the urn its smooth, gentle feel.
A Gentle Conclusion
A pet urn from Jingdezhen is not just a ceramic object. It brings together eight stages of craftsmanship and a thousand years of tradition.
A portrait or paw print painted onto the bisque surface becomes a lasting personal mark.
The kiln’s fire preserves colors and texture for decades.
The final polish gives a touch of warmth – something you can hold close.
Each urn is a vessel of memory, a quiet companion that honors the bond with your beloved pet.
